The Chicago Sun Times are reporting that Kevin Jones roster spot is not guaranteed. The Bears are in a bit of a number game in regards to their mediocre offense collection. It's doubtful they will be able to carry 3 QBs, 6 WRs, and 4 RBs. As a result, Calib Hanie, Mike Hass, Marc Bradley, Marty Booker, Brandon Lloyd, and Kevin Jones are all competing for roster spots. I expect Jones will earn an extended look over several of the aforementioned names. Look for the Bears to carry 4 RBs.

Coach Smith officially named ol' neck beard as the man who will lead the Bears offenses when they enter battle against the Colts. I'm guessing by week 3 the whole city will be screaming for Grossman, and by week 4 half will want Orton back and the other half will want the #3 QB. John Scaletta will want Cedric Benson and many will speculate the Bears will trade for Donovan McNabb in the offseason no matter how old or injured he gets.
